Well baby, today I gave a vile of blood [triple-screen test] so that it could be checked to see that you are a-ok. Crossing my fingers that no funny "abnormalities" come up.
As for v-day, we aren't celebrating this year. I told G that I'd rather be taken out to dinner and given flowers "just because." Plus, money is tight right now. It's a lot more special that way. Although I did ask that we go out for ice cream at 21 Choices in Old Town - my favorite!
